I’ve spent close to three decades building my career as a specialist recruiter, driven by a simple belief that great recruitment is about deep expertise, trusted relationships, and long-term impact.
In that time, I founded and built DMJ, one of the UK’s leading legal and governance recruitment firms. What started as an idea grew into an award-winning business, known for its brilliant recruiters, people focused culture, and the strength of its professional network.
In 2022, we sold DMJ to private equity, a milestone that reflected the success of the business and the incredible people behind it. Following the transaction, I remained with the company for three years, helping to lead the next phase of its growth before stepping away at the end of 2025.
Why DPA Group?
Recruitment can be an incredibly rewarding career, however the conventional structures don’t always serve the people doing the work. Too often, talented recruiters are constrained by rigid environments, internal politics, and outdated ways of operating.
